A couple months ago, my wife's best friend, Emily, gave birth to her first child, Timothy. This past weekend, we got the chance to meet the little guy for the first time. As the grown ups around the room took turns holding the newborn, Timmy remained calm for the most part taking in the plethora of new faces looking to make his acquaintance.
